Merge an SCP Morphs and Costumes
R6 SCP looks in Merge an SCP: how unlocks show up, when a costume is only a flex, and which models players actually see.
Merge an SCP uses R6 morphs. You are not a realistic operator in a horror sim. You are a blocky lab tech who can wear SCP silhouettes as you climb the merge track. The Roblox listing is SCP Merge; the studio is Merge Empire. Costumes and morphs are the vanity layer on top of buying SCP-999, merging copies, and surviving containment. They are easy to confuse with merge power because the models share names with the tier board.
This page separates a look you wear from a tier you merge. If you still need the first 999, start on Getting Started. If you need copy counts, use How to Merge SCPs. Come here when a new body unlocked and you want to know whether to equip it, flex it, or ignore it until the SMG exists.
The unlock loop, without a fake price list
Morphs show up as you play: merging higher, spending in a costume catalog, or hitting badge rungs on the Tier 1–Tier 15 track. This wiki will not invent Robux prices, badge requirements, or a sealed drop table. Watch the in-game catalog and the badge list. If a morph is locked, the usual answers are “merge more,” “buy it in the costume shop if one is showing,” or “you have not hit that badge.” None of those answers is a code. No public promo codes were confirmed as of 2026-09-06.
Treat each unlock as optional until the lab prints cash on its own. A costume that costs the wallet you needed for a matching set is a downgrade even if it looks like SCP-682. Promo art can show 682 without that meaning you should buy the art. Play the pad, then open the closet.
Show-off skins versus merge power
Merge power is the identity on the pad: matching copies becoming a higher tier. That is how you move toward names players cite later on the track. A morph is the avatar you walk around in. Equipping SCP-173 as a costume does not skip you to a 173 merge rung. Unequipping a costume does not delete your tier.
Use a morph when:
- you already completed the current matching set
- the model does not hide shop buttons or the floor
- you can still aim a gun in Boss Rounds
Leave a morph in the catalog when:
- you cannot afford the next copies
- you do not own the cheap SMG yet (around 5,000 in common sessions)
- the silhouette clips the camera or covers orbs you need for How to Farm Cash
Flex in the lobby. Fight and merge in a body you can see. That split is the whole skill of this page.
Models players actually see
Public sessions and comments commonly treat these as morphs or wearable models: SCP-173 (the statue), SCP-1048 (the bear), and SCP-131 (the eye-on-wheels pair). Promo art also shows SCP-682. Those four are looks. They are not a promise about which merge rung you are on.
Separately, merge-track identities cited in videos are a different list: SCP-999 at Tier 1, SCP-035 (the mask) around the middle, SCP-049 (Plague Doctor) commonly around Tier 7, SCP-096 (Shy Guy) commonly around Tier 8, and SCP-939 in high-tier skip clips. Players mix those names with costume names in chat. The cautious table is the SCP tier list and the SCP roster. This morphs page will not flatten them into one official chart.
If a thumbnail shows 096, ask whether it is a merge result or a worn morph. The distinction saves you from spending cash on a look you thought was a skip.
Morphs during alarms and orb walks
R6 SCP bodies change camera and collision. A statue morph can block your own view of floor eggs. A wide bear can make the shop button awkward on mobile. During a containment round, switch to whatever body lets you see the lane. Typical Roblox equip/unequip on the hotbar or avatar menu applies; there is no unique Merge Empire morph key invented here. Controls covers the generic clicks.
Do not morph-shop in the siren. Do not morph-shop instead of walking orbs. Costumes do not collect cash. If a morph is a reward for a badge, claim it, equip it for a screenshot, then put the working lab body back on.
Other players in the eight-person server will see your morph. That is the social point. It is not a mechanic that merges their copies with yours. Stay in your slot. A 173 statue standing in a neighbor’s pad is still just a visitor.
What not to buy with morph money
Do not fund a costume with the last coins that would have completed a three-copy early set. Do not skip a gun for a 1048 bear. Do not paste a morph script; injected wardrobe tools sit with the rest of the executor risk on the Scripts Hub. Do not expect Steam outfits, console skins, or an official Chinese or Russian cosmetic pass — this is a Roblox place only.
If a shop tries to sell you a skip and a morph in the same glance, buy neither until How to Merge SCPs and the SMG are in order. Check Updates if a new costume appeared after the 2026-06-10 listed update. Check Merge Empire only for studio context, not for a secret wardrobe code.
Showing off without stalling the merge line
A good morph session is a screenshot at the end, not a shopping spree at the start. Climb a rung, scoop orbs, survive a breach, then put on 131 or 173 for the walk back to the shop. If the new body hides the pad, take it off. If chat asks whether your 096 is a tier or a costume, tell the truth and link them to the SCP tier list instead of arguing from a thumbnail.
Merge an SCP lets you wear the catalog. It does not let the catalog play the tycoon for you. Keep SCP-999’s loop in charge: matching copies, floor cash, cheap gun, alarm. Let morphs be the souvenir of a rung you already paid for. When the souvenir starts eating the next matching set, close the closet, open How to Farm Cash, and earn the look again the slow way — that is the only morph advice that still works after a patch moves a catalog tile.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Merge an SCP questions.
Does equipping a morph raise my merge tier?
No. A morph is an R6 look. Merge power is matching copies on the pad. Copy rules are on How to Merge SCPs.
Which SCP morphs show up in public sessions?
Players commonly see SCP-173, SCP-1048, and SCP-131 as morphs. Promo art also shows SCP-682. Merge-track names such as SCP-049 or SCP-096 are a different list on the SCP roster.
Should I buy a costume before a gun?
No. Players commonly need a cheap SMG around 5,000 for containment. Spend on the fight first. See Boss Rounds.
Why does my morph make shopping or aiming harder?
Wide R6 SCP models can hide UI and floor orbs. Unequip for shop, cash walks, and alarms. Camera notes are on Controls.
Can I unlock morphs with promo codes?
No public promo codes were confirmed as of 2026-09-06. Use the in-game catalog and badges. Redeem UI, if any, is on how to redeem.
Is a morph required to finish the Tier 15 badge track?
The badge track is merge tiers, not wardrobe completion. Play copies and cash. A costume is optional flex after the lab already runs.
