Merge an SCP Which SCPs appear, and how

This roster lists the SCP identities players actually see in Merge an SCP, then says how each one appears: as a merge tier, as a costume/morph, or as promo art. It is not a complete SCP Foundation encyclopedia and it is not a sealed official table. When a number is commonly observed, we say so. When a number is a trailer silhouette, we say that too.

The Roblox listing is SCP Merge. You start by buying SCP-999, merge matching copies (often three early, often two later), and wear R6 morphs on an eight-player floor. Badge rungs are Tier1–Tier15. Rank those rungs on SCP Tiers. This page answers “what am I looking at.”

How appearances work

Three pipes feed the same camera:

1. Merge tier. Combining matching copies replaces the body on your pad. Tier1 is the shop blob. Higher badges swap the silhouette. This is the only pipe tied to Tier1–Tier15.
2. Costume / morph shop. Separate spend for looks. Promo bodies can sit here without being a badge. The morphs guide covers unlocking and wearing them.
3. Promo and thumbnail art. Experience icons, update thumbs, and video covers love SCP-096’s face. Art is not a drop table.

If those three pipes disagree, trust the pad in front of you, then the badge inventory, then the thumbnail — in that order.

Creating dangerous SCPs in Merge an SCP

Merge-rung identities (observed)

These are the numbers players report on the climb. Treat the column as field notes.

SCP-999 (Tier1, shop start)

SCP-999 is the orange blob the shop sells you. About 3.17 million players own the Tier1 badge, which matches “everyone buys this.” It is D-tier as a combat body on the SCP Tiers list and S-tier as a tutorial. You do not skip 999. You convert it.

SCP-035 (mid rungs)

SCP-035 shows up in the mid band, around the T4–T6 cash wall where badge counts fall from about 792,000 to about 152,000. The mask is a presence upgrade, not a reason to skip the starter SMG. If you meet 035 before you own a gun, you rushed C-tier with D-tier defense.

SCP-049 (commonly Tier7)

The Plague Doctor is the first identity most players can name without opening a wiki. About 91,000 own Tier7. That is still a crowd, but it is no longer “everyone who clicked Play.” 049 is a B-rank identity goal: famous, reachable, and a decent signal that your merge math works. Pair the push with how to merge so you are not three-copying a two-copy rung.

SCP-096 (commonly Tier8)

Shy Guy is the poster morph. About 58,000 own Tier8. Thumbnails, the hero image on this hub, and half the YouTube titles point here. 096 is A-rank on the prestige list because it is the breach people came to see, not because it is rarer than T15. A 096 body still wants a gun during boss rounds.

SCP-939 (high rungs)

The high band — T10 and up, where owners drop from about 16,000 to hundreds — is where 939-style hunters appear. Sample size is poor. Most servers will never show you a fair lineup of T12–T15 bodies. Do not take one clip as a roster patch.

Tiers with no commonly agreed number stay unlabeled on purpose. We would rather leave T9, T11, and the S-wall unnamed than guess 106, 173, or 682 onto a badge they do not own.

Promo and costume identities

These four show up in morph racks, trailers, or shop rows. They are not the fifteen-badge ladder unless you personally merged them on your pad — and we have not seen a stable mapping that says you do.

SCP-173

The statue is classic Foundation bait and a classic thumbnail. In Merge an SCP it behaves like a costume/promo body. If you snap-necked something in a video, check whether the creator was on a merge rung or a morph slot. Do not plan T5 around 173.

SCP-682

Hard-to-destroy reptile energy is catnip for merge-game marketing. 682 is a flex costume, not a confirmed badge identity on this wiki. Wearing 682 on a T3 pad does not move your Tier3 badge. Spend as if it is cosmetics, then confirm on the pad.

SCP-1048

The builder bear is a smaller, weirder morph that shows up in costume talk. It is easy to confuse with “cute like 999” and then walk into a breach underdressed. Keep 1048 on the morph list.

SCP-131

The eye-pods are the mascot-shaped end of the costume rack. Useful as a reminder that not every SCP in this game is a Keter screenshot. If you unlock 131, enjoy the look; do not expect it to tank a boss round.

What this roster will not do

It will not assign an SCP number to all fifteen badges. It will not copy a fan chart from the comments of a video. It will not pretend costumes are merge results. It will not tell you 096 is “the best character,” because there are no characters, only rungs and racks.

When Merge Empire ships a labeled index, this page will grow. Until then, the honest roster is nine names, two pipes, and a warning about thumbnails. If you cannot point at the pad, the badge, or the morph shop, you do not have an identity — you have a thumbnail.

Log off the comment-section bestiary, buy another 999 if you need copies, and only add a number to your notes when it walks across your own floor. That is the entire roster policy.
